Separate sealed bids for construction of TROPIC TOWN PARK IMPROVEMENTS 2024 - CONCRETE will be
received by Tropic Town from bidders.
Bids shall be submitted to the Sunrise plan room by 3:00 PM on November 7 th , 2024. Bid results will be posted on
the plan room by 3:00 PM on November 8th, 2024.
The work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required
to construct the facilities and features called for by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and as shown on the
DRAWINGS.
Project includes the earthwork & grading, concrete landscape curbing, concrete flatwork replacement, and new
concrete sidewalks.
This project is funded by CDBG (Community Development Block Grant), LWCF (Land Water Conservation Fund).
Plans and specifications have been prepared by Sunrise Engineering, LLC. and will be available after 3:00 PM on
October 31 st , 2024 on their website plan room at http://www.sunrise-eng.com. Click on 'Plan Room' at the top of
the homepage. Bidders must register and sign-in and choose to become a plan holder to obtain access to
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and DRAWINGS. Notices regarding changes/amendments to the CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS and DRAWINGS will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the bidder's registration. Bidders
are responsible to maintain current and correct contact information and check the planroom often to receive updates
or additional documents/changes/amendments. The ENGINEER for this Contract will be Sunrise Engineering, LLC
and they will be represented by Mario Gonzalez, P.E. as Project Engineer.
The prevailing rate of wages, as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor, in accordance with the Davis-Bacon
act, shall be paid for each craft or type of labor needed to perform the contract. The work to be performed is
subject to the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act requirement of the infrastructure Investment and Jobs Acot
of 2021.
Bidders on this project will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11518, 11246, and
11375, as well as other Federal Regulations indicated in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. This is a federally funded
project. All bidders are required to make the six good faith efforts to assure compliance with the State's 'fair shar
goals' and are required to comply with EEO regulations.
