- PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is being given that the Washington City Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. hosted at Washington City Hall located at 111 North 100 East, Washington, Utah. The meeting will be broadcast via Youtube Live linked online at https://washingtoncity.org/meetings.The Public Hearing is for the purpose of the following: Public Hearing for consideration and recommendation to the City Council for a Code Amendment of Title 9 Chapter 8A Subsection 8B6 and Chapter 8B Subsection 7B6 (9-8A-8B6 , 9-8B-7B6); to amend the Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit parking requirements from the required 2 parking spaces to 1 required parking space. A detailed legal description and information is available in the Community Development Office located in the Washington City Offices. If you have any questions concerning this issue, please contact the Community Development Department at (435) 656-6325 or email bbaker@washingtoncity.org Public comment for this topic may be submitted through the 'Items Available for Public Comment' portal at https://washingtoncity.org/meetings. The public comment portal opens the Friday before the meeting and is available until 5:00 pm on the day preceding the meeting. Virtual or in-person meeting attendance is also welcome.
