REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS
PROGRAM 2025-2026
WHAT: The Salt Lake County Division of Housing and Community Development Office (HCD) is releasing a single Request for Applications (RFA) for the 2025-2026 program year. This consolidated RFA combines multiple funding opportunities, including:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
- Social Services Block Grant (SSBG)
- HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME)
WHEN: Applications will be available beginning on or about Monday, October 28, 2024.
WHERE: Applications will only be accepted through Smartsheet. Separate applications are required for each project or program. If you are seeking funds for more than one program or project, please submit more than one application.
Completed applications must be submitted via Smartsheet by 3:00 PM MST on Monday, December 2, 2024. For more information and access to the applications, please visit the County's website www.slco.org/hcd
Incomplete, hand-delivered, emailed, faxed, or late applications will be ineligible and not accepted.
Key Program Details:
1. CDBG Program activities include housing rehabilitation, economic development public services, and public facility improvements.
2. ESG Program activities include supporting services for homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, and emergency shelter operations.
3. SSBG Program activities include supporting social services that strengthen families and communities.
4. HOME Investment Partnership Program activities include tenant-based rental assistance, housing rehabilitation, and new construction of affordable housing units.
In-Person Application and Q&A Session:
Interested applicants are invited to attend an application training to discuss project and applicant eligibility requirements and to ask questions about the RFA. The training will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 9:30am (MST).
