1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER. Chairman Klansey Bateman called the Meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL. Chairman Klansey Bateman Planning Commissioner Greg Mascaro Planning Commissioner Steve Wallace (Phone) Planning Commissioner Randy Croasmun (Phone) City Council Liaison Adam Palafox City Clerk Liliana Soriano EXCUSED: Planning Commissioner Jose Escobedo, Planning Commissioner Bryan Soriano, City Treasurer Sasha Palafox 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. Planning Commissioner Greg Mascaro led the Pledge of Allegiance. 5. APPROVE OR AMEND THE MINUTES RECORDED FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 2023. Motion made by Chairman Klansey Bateman, seconded by Planning Commissioner Randy Croasmun to approve the Minutes Recorded for the Wendover City Planning and Zoning meeting held on Tuesday, October 24TH 2023. All in favor aye, Motion passed. 6. APPROVE OR AMEND THE MINUTES RECORDED FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING AND ZONING PUBLIC HEARING MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 2023. Motion made by Chairman Klansey Bateman, seconded by Planning Commissioner Steve Wallace to approve the Minutes Recorded for the Wendover City Planning and Zoning Public Hearing meeting held on Tuesday, October 24TH 2023. All in favor aye, Motion passed. 7. APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRPERSON FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 2024. Motion made by Planning Commissioner Randy Croasmun, seconded by Chairman Klansey Bateman to appoint Greg Mascaro as the new chairperson. All in favor aye, Motion passed. 8. APPOINTMENT OF NEW VICE CHAIRPERSON FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 2024. Motion made by Planning Commissioner Randy Croasmun, seconded by Planning Commissioner Greg Mascaro to appoint Klansey Bateman as New Vice Chairman for the 2024 Planning & Zoning Commission. All in favor aye, Motion passed. 9. APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE STARTING WORKSHOP, DESCRIPTIONS, AND OTHER POSSIBLE CHANGES TO THE WENDOVER CITY LAND USE REGULATIONS BOOK. Motion made by Planning Commissioner Randy Croasmun, seconded by Planning Commissioner Steve Wallace to a table line item. 10. COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE. No comments were made. 11. NEW BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATIONS AS OF AUGUST 1ST, 2024 MUST BE SIGNED BY PLANNING AND ZONING. City Clerk Liliana Soriano notified the Planning and Zoning Commission that all business applications show a column that is to be signed off by the Planning and Zoning Commission. 12. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. No comments. 13. NEW BUSINESS. No comments. 14. THE NEXT SCHEDULED PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2024 AT 5:10 P.M. Chairman Klansey Bateman made a motion to schedule the next Planning and Zoning meeting on Wednesday, September 11TH, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. All in favor aye, Motion passed. 15. ADJOURNMENT. Motion made by Planning Commissioner Steve Wallace, seconded by Chairman Klansey Bateman to adjourn the meeting at 5:20 p.m.
