MUTTON HOLLOW IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING AGENDA OCTOBER 24, 2024 8:00 p.m. BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING 1. CALL TO MEETING 2. IN ATTENDANCE 3. REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES BUSINESS ITEMS: 1. BANK BALANCE AND CD INVESTMENT 2. UNPAID WATER BILLS 3. WATER USAGE REPORT TASK ASSIGNMENTS FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS: a. KAYSVILLE CITY/DAVIS COUNTY: JUSTIN will continue with discussions with Kaysville City regarding transfer of MHID system. He will also continue discussion with Bob Stevenson, county commissioner, regarding relationship of MHID with county and Jerry Hartley's proposed annexation petition. i. JUSTIN/MARK: Explore possibility of meeting with Jeff Oyler from Davis County Planning and Development. 4. END OF LINE 100 EAST: MARK to complete installation of riser. Purchase frost free hydrant and 'dog house.' NEW/CONTINUING BUSINESS: 1. PEDERSON CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HOUSE: MARK Mark to find out if Layton City considers this a single residence. 2. VALVE MAINTENANCE: Brett to report any activity. Needs someone to flag for him. 3. UPPER RESERVOIR ACCESS: a. RETAINING WALL needs to be constructed in a couple of places b. APPROACH i. Justin send letter to contractor regarding access road. ii. Needs to be less steep near the top-possibly with switch back. iii. Surface becomes wet and slippery after rain/snow - possibility of adding some road base. iv. From previous meeting Justin felt best plan would be to transfer services to Kaysville. c. YARD MAINTENANCE: Mark will continue work in the Spring 4. Mark will continue work a. Road Base Cliff suggest re-cycled asphalt. b. Overflow Basin 5. REPLACE TRANSITE: a. JUSTIN to report on funding and way forward. b. EDGEHILL CIRCLE PIPELINE: On hold pending possibility of funding of Transite projects. c. WEST BOYNTON: Discussion tabled pending plan for replacing transite pipe. i. This section needs to be added list of possible replacement projects. ii. Need to pursue transferring this area to Kaysville 1. Justin and Cliff will go to Kaysville and discuss. Linda and Porter provided list of names and maps. 6. WATER SYSTEM LATERALS-LEAD COPPER INVENTORY: Mark report progress. 7. RECURRING EVENTS: MARK 8. GENERATOR: MARK report on status of generator. a. Mark to look into solar system to control valves 9. GROUP TEXTING: PORTER 10. DISCUSSION: REGARDING UPDATING RATES.: JUSTIN 11. STATUS OF CONNECTION OF 2ND KINGSTON HOME: MARK 12. AWARDS FOR CLIFF AND FRANK: PORTER 13. BUDGET: Dan to report on how MHID is doing in regard to Budget. 14. OTHER AND NEW BUSINESS. TIME AND MILEAGE READ METERS MEETING ADJOURNED:
