NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Santa Clara City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 5:30 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the City Council Chambers, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah 84765. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public input on the following item: 1. Consider a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to Chapter 17.68.020, Allowed Uses in the Planned Development Zones. The applicant, Wes Davis, representing Dollar Loan Center and Country Lane Commons, LLC is proposing to add a new land use in the Planned Development Commercial, PDC Zone. The proposed use would allow for a 'Non-Depository Consumer Lender' as a permitted use in the zoning district. The applicant intends to bring a Dollar Loan Center to the Country Lane Commons project. Citizens of Santa Clara are encouraged to attend the meeting where they will be given the opportunity to express any concerns they may have about the proposed action. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary Communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify the Deputy City Recorder, Selena Nez at (435) 656-4690, ext. 215 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.
