NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission will hold public hearings on October 22, 2024, at 6:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as business allows, in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, 1650 E Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. The Planning Commission will receive public comments concerning the following items:
- Eagle Crest Storage: A Proposed Site plan and conditional use permit approval of Eagle Crest Storage at 5528 North Eagle Mountain Blvd. (Parcel number 38:713:0102) in the Commercial Storage zone. Isaac Patterson is the applicant. EMC Staff Point of Contact: David Stroud, dstroud@emcity.org.
- Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Amendments:
o EMMC 17.10.30 Definitions, 17.20.030 Permitted Uses, 17.48.030 Allowed Uses, and 17.75 Standards for Special Uses : A proposed code amendment to amend Title 17.10.030 Definitions by adding new terms and definitions related to power plants, battery storage systems and transmission lines; amending 17.20.030 to allow transmission lines and facilities in the AG Zone, amending 17.48.030 to allow battery energy storage systems, solar energy projects, electrical substations, natural gas power plants and transmission lines and facilities within the RTI Zone; amending 17.75 Standards for Special Uses to add allowances and standards for battery energy storage systems, natural gas power plants and solar energy projects.
