For the Historic Preservation and Heritage Museum Advisory Board Meeting
To be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 204 E 100 N Vernal.
Uintah County Library 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1. Welcome
2. Purpose of the board
3. Electing officers
4. Establishing bylaws
5. Tower Engineering Professionals - consulting with them about the historic properties of a communications tower potentially coming in next to the Golden Age Center
6. Public comment (Groups must designate one spokesperson and are limited to three minutes each unless additional time is granted by the meeting chairperson)
7. Set the next meeting date
8. Adjourn
If time permits we will also add any of the following, if not we can address it next meeting:
9. Updates on exhibits and displays
a. Marety's exhibits: WWII exhibit and the Doughboy exhibit
b. Alycia's exhibits for 2026 for the semiquincentennial: the 50th anniversary of the First Lady Dolls; 250th anniversary of the Dominguez Escalante Trail. A summer exhibition in 2025 on Gilsonite.
