- Public notice is hereby given For the Historic Preservation and Heritage Museum Advisory Board Meeting To be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 155 East Main Vernal. Uintah County Heritage Museum 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting is as follows: 1. Welcome 2. Purpose of the board 3. Electing officers 4. Establishing bylaws 5. Public comment (Groups must designate one spokesperson. They are limited to three minutes each unless additional time is granted by the meeting chairperson) 6. Set the next meeting date 7. Adjourn If time permits we will also add any of the following, if not we can address it next meeting: 9. Updates on exhibits and displays: a. Marety's exhibits: WWII exhibit and the Doughboy exhibit b. Alycia's exhibits for 2026 for the semiquincentennial: the 50th anniversary of the First Lady Dolls; 250th anniversary of the Dominguez Escalante Trail. A summer exhibition in 2025 on Gilsonite. 10. Buffalo Soldiers Heritage Trail 11. Staff reports 12. Board member reports 13. Gift shop discussion
