OFFICIAL NOTICE GENERAL ELECTION TUESDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2024 I, Marla R. Young, Box Elder County Clerk, do submit for publication the following: QUALIFICATIONS TO VOTE U.S. Citizen, resident of the State of Utah for over 30 days preceding election, 18 years of age by November 5, 2024, and registered to vote in Box Elder County. Notice is given to qualified persons residing within Box Elder County that the General Election is to be held November 5, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Notice is given that Early Voting will take Place October 29, 2024-November 1, 2024 at the Box Elder County Courthouse, Commission Chambers, 1 South Main Brigham City from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Notice is given that Early Voting will take Place October 29-October 30, 2024 at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds (Fine Arts Building) 310 N. 1000 W. Tremonton, Utah from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Notice is given that there will be two Voting Assistance Centers within Box Elder County for the General Election. Voting assistance and ADA ballot marking devices are available at: USU Education Center 989 S. Main Brigham City, Utah Box Elder County Fairgrounds (Fine Arts Building) 310 N 1000 W Tremonton, Utah A valid form of identification is required to vote at a Voting Assistance Center. Notice is given that Box Elder County will publicly conduct a logic and accuracy test and demonstration of the tabulation equipment on October 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Box Elder County Clerk's Office 1 South Main Suite 10 Brigham City, Utah. Anyone interested in witnessing the testing is invited to attend. Notice is given that the election audit required by the Lieutenant Governor's Election Policy will be conducted on November 13, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Box Elder County Clerk's Office 1 South Main Suite #10 Brigham City, Utah and continuing until complete. Anyone desiring to witness the audit is invited to attend. Notice is given that the Board of Canvassers will meet to canvass the General Election on Tuesday November 19, 2024 at 11:15 a.m. in the Commission Chambers of the County Courthouse 1 South Main Brigham City, Utah. The election canvass results will then be available at www.boxeldercountyut.gov/elections or the County Clerk's office 1 South Main Suite #10 Brigham City, Utah. For further information, please call 435-734-3393. Notice is given that a listing of ballot drop boxes may be found at www.boxeldercountyut.gov/elections Notice is given that candidate information may be found at vote.utah.gov. Notice is given of a sample ballot for the General Election.
