PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Hyde Park City Council hereby announces a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in the Council Room at the Hyde Park City Office (113 E Center, Hyde Park, UT).
The Hyde Park City Council adopted a resolution on September 11, 2024, and the North Logan City Council adopted a resolution on September 18, 2024 stating their intent to change the common boundary between the two cities in the approximate area of 3100 North to 3165 North and between 1165 East and 1200 East (North Logan addressing). The affected parcels include 04 277 0004, 04 277 0005, 04 277 0006, 04 277 0007, and 04 277 0008. The details for the boundary change can be seen on Hyde Park City Website at www.hpcutah.gov or at the city offices at each city.
Pursuant to Utah State Code Title 10-2-419, the municipal legislative bodies will make the boundary adjustment unless, at or before the public hearing, written protests to the boundary change are filed by the owners of the private real property that is located within the area proposed for boundary change, covers a majority of the total private land area within the entire area proposed for annexation; and is equal in value to at least 1/2 the value of all private real property within the entire area proposed for the boundary change.
The public hearing is to receive public input on the proposed boundary adjustment. Interested citizens are invited to attend. If unable to attend, you may forward comments to: Hyde Park City Council at 113 East Center, Hyde Park, UT 84318; or the North Logan City Council, 2525 North 600 East, North Logan, Utah 84341. Comments received prior to the meetings will be distributed to the decision-makers.
