Overview- The town of Virgin Utah is a pretty special place, as a result it is growing. As growth occurs planning ahead for infrastructure becomes critical. For many years, the natural drainage elements throughout the town of Virgin worked reasonably well. As development has come along some of the historic drainage has been altered causing flooding throughout town and especially in some of the newer neighborhoods. A Master Drainage Study has become critical to plan forward and to avoid existing and future flooding.
The Master Drainage Study and Report will include the following elements:
Introductory information and background
Description of Study area and flooding Sources
Existing Drainage elements and infrastructure
Flood control policies
Hydrologic Analysis
Deficiencies and Recommendations
Proposed Improvements and costs
