- SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, October 1, 2024, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend various sections of Title 21A of the Salt Lake City Code creating a new section 21A.28.040 Northpoint Light Industrial (M-1A) Zoning District that aligns with the goals, policies and future land use recommendations established in the Northpoint Small Area Plan. The proposal would include providing an environment for light industrial, office, and research uses, while reducing the impact on adjacent agricultural and residential properties and native habitats. This is a City Council-initiated petition. Other sections of Title 21A - Zoning may also be amended as part of this petition. This project is within Council District 1. Petition No.:PLNPCM2024-00333. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
