Study Session will be held in the CED Conference Room on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 3:30 p.m.
Preliminary application information will be available at https://www.wvc-ut.gov/669/Agendas-Minutes by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Staff analyses, as well as any final application materials, will be available by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2024.
Testimonies for or against the proposed applications can be provided to the Planning Commission during the public hearing or in writing prior to the hearing. If you wish to submit written comments, please be advised that this should be provided to the Planning Staff member assigned to the application at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting to enable the Planning Commission to properly consider the comments.
ZONE CHANGE APPLICATIONS
Z-8-2024 Petition by West Valley City requesting a zone change to remove the Decker Lake Station Overlay Zone and change the zoning from M (Manufacturing) to C-2 (General Commercial). The property is located at 3022, 3038, and 3074 S Decker Lake Dr and at 2964 S Tundra Ln on 13.4 acres. This petition also includes a zone change to remove the Decker Lake Station Overlay Zone from the property at 2212 W 3100 S, which is 0.44 acres. ZONE TEXT CHANGE APPLICATIONS
ZT-10-2024 Petition by West Valley City requesting an amendment to the zoning ordinance by modifying Section 7-6-301, adding Sections 7-10-400P through 7-10-402, and removing Sections 7-14- 100P through 7-14-104. These changes would remove the Decker Lake Station Overlay Zone and add development standards for properties along Decker Lake Drive between 3100 South and 3500 South. ZT-11-2024 Petition by West Valley City requesting an amendment to the zoning ordinance by modifying Section 7-6-301 to allow tattoo establishments as a permitted use in the BRP, MXD, CC, C-1, C-2, C-3, and LI zones and to remove the prohibition on tattoo establishments in all overlay zones. CA-7-2024 Petition by Gerald Higgins requesting a conditional use amendment for an expansion of an automobile service business.
