Things to Discuss:
Unfortunately, we were not accepted for the CADCA Grant, but we did get the USU Grant.
What do we want to see this year? (Bingo, Dance, Service)- how will this happen, committees for each?
Sweatshirt/hoody?- Must be approved by Mayor! Designs need to be submitted, and funds need to be available, or do we buy them ourselves?
USU Survey- This survey is required for the grant we have been given. We need to fill one out each quarter.
Important Dates:
September 20, 2024 Color Run with Healthy Coalition- 5:30 - 7:30
September 27, 2024 Movie Night with the Healthy Coalition- 5:30- 7:30
October 2, 2024 Waste Management facility visit 2-3 pm
October 9, 2024 Youth Council Swearing in, City Council Meeting 6:00 pm
October 15, 2024 Youth Council Meeting, 5:30 in the Community Room
November 19, 2024 Youth Council Meeting, 5:30 in the Community Room
Attendance:
We need a new way of recording attendance. Attendance is really important so we know who is giving their part to the Youth Council. Attendance must be 80% to remain on Youth Council.
