This letter authorizes the San Juan County Economic Development Board to confirm that It was involved in allocating the 2024 Rural Grant Funding.
The Board participated in the following:
Review and approval of the application
Review and approval of the MOU that each business had to sign to receive the approved funding
Each application was reviewed during two board meetings
Final distribution was determined by the board.
The funding awarded to each business was based on creating new jobs and completing infrastructure that would result in additional Transient Room Tax, Restaurant Tax, and Sales tax back to the Incorporated Cities, and San Juan County.
