PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING
Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of Price City, Utah, will hold a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 185 East Main, Price, Utah, at 05:00 PM on 09/11/2024. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs.

4.GENERAL BUSINESS/DISCUSSION
a. LIFE SAVING AWARD RECOGNITION. Chief of Police, Brandon Sicilia will be recognizing and commending two lifeguards from the Price City Desert Wave Pool for a life saving event that took place during International Days.
b. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) IN-PERSON REVIEWS EWP FLASH FLOOD PROJECT- Consideration and possible approval to direct the RFQ Review Committee to conduct separate in-person reviews with the two firms submitting proposals: Johansen & Tuttle Engineering and Jones & DeMille Engineering, and to bring a final recommendation back to the City Council for approval in a future public meeting.
c. NOTICE OF AWARD (NOI), EMERGENCY WATERSHED PROTECTION (EWP) PROJECT-Consideration and possible approval of the Notice of Award for the EWP Flash Flood Project, including acceptance of the terms and conditions attached thereto. Total Project =$3,078,487.50; EWP Grant (NRCS) =$2,377,237.50; Price City Required Match = $701,250.00.
d. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-021. Consideration and possible approval of A Resolution Supporting the State of Utah Statute for Actions Taken with Community Cats.
e. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-022. Consideration and possible approval of a Resolution Establishing the Fee Schedule for Dog Licenses.
5.CONSENT AGENDA
a. MINUTES for 08-28-2024 City Council Workshop & City Council.
b. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) HELPER CITY & PRICE CITY SPRING LINES INTERCONNECTION-Consideration and possible approval of an MOU between Helper City and Price City to share equally in the design and installation expenses of establishing an interconnection between the two cities' spring transmission lines. An agreement for the operation and use of the interconnect will be established later.
c. JAG - LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION. Consideration and possible approval to authorize Price City Police Department to submit application for the JAG Grant (Local Law Enforcement Block Grant).
d. DONATION/SPONSORSHIP REQUEST. Consideration and possible approval for a $500.00 donation/sponsorship for the 2024 Price City Christmas Tree Regalia.
