Housed in the Department of Economic Development, the Business Advisory Board seeks to encourage economic development and target industry relocation within City boundaries. The board also helps direct City economic policy, promote small business growth, support local entrepreneurship, and assist the City in remaining responsive to the business community. Business Advisory Board meetings are held in a hybrid meeting format. Board Members and staff may participate through an online format, and members of the public may join in person at the City & County Building: 451 South State Street, Room 335, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. Report from the Director. Ms. Reichgelt will provide updates on the work of the Department of Economic Development to the Board. b. Open Streets and Open Streets RFP Update Ms. Reichgelt will provide updates on the Open Streets and the RFP to the Board. 5. Business Items a. Commercial and Mixed-Use Zoning Consolidation 15 minutes Planning Director, Nick Norris will update the Board on the Commercial and Mixed-Use Zoning Consolidation Plan b. BAB Chair and Vice-Chair Remarks and Strategy Discussion 15 minutes The BAB Chair and Vice-Chair will discuss Board Strategy and Feedback. 6. City Council Announcements 15 minutes a. Councilmember Dan Dugan invites the Board to a discussion on the Rio Grande Plan on September 12, 6:00 pm, at the Sorenson Multicultural Center, 1383 South 900 West. RSVP b. Sports, Entertainment, Culture, and Convention District - Participation Agreement, Ms. Rowland c. Sports, Entertainment, Culture, and Convention District - Zoning, Ms. Rowland. d. Development of Former Sears Property, Ms. Rowland. e. Potential Improvements to RDA Commercial Assistance Programs, Ms. Rowland. f.
