Paul Webb is on active status Samuel Leifson has submitted an application to join the department. Vehicles - Heavy Brush 13 needs tires worked on - David Stacey says we need to take it to Evanston Both Engine 11 and 12 failed pump test with Wyoming apparatus - 11 has leaks and 12 Overheated and would not test Radios - Rich County is anticipating a switch over to 700 mhz in October. Chris Stapel - fire chief in Randolph has contacted Peak Mobile to install the vehicle radios and will let them know we are interested for them to install our vehicle radios at the same time. . Equipment: Building: the emergency generator was installed at the building Community: Other: Minutes of May 1st 21024 Meeting called to order 7:00 p.m. Attendance: Board Members Seiko Webb, Chris Schulthess and Board Clerk Robert Leifson No one appeared for public comment. It was moved by board member Chris Schulthess and seconded by board member Seiko Webb that the minutes of April 3rd be approved. The motion carried by the affirmative vote of - Chris Schulthess and Board Member Seiko Webb. The motion carried by the affirmative vote of - Chris Schulthess and Board Member Seiko Webb. The board discussed the service to Intuit software known as quickbooks - The service is no longer needed to complete the monthly or quarterly reports - Chris Schulthess made a motion to end the service and Seiko Webb seconded the motion - Brent Stacey officially resigned as a member of the Fire Board - Rob will post the position in the post office and inform Annlisa Peart - the Rich County Clerk that the position is open. Training: The department burnt ditches at the Blair Francis Ranch. Personnel: Paul Webb has started attending training and desires to become eligible to respond with the department Vehicles - Heavy Brush 13 needs tires worked on - David Stacey says we need to take it to Evanston Radios - the radios from the Utah Communications Authority grant have arrived - It is expected that the communications system will not be in place until this summer. Equipment: the Department purchased a drill set for the fire shed for maintenance work on the trucks. Rob will talk with the E.M.T's about what type of A.E.D. would be good for the department Building: The board received two bids that service the Woodruff Area for paving the area in front of the fire shed. The Board felt that the money would be best used in other areas. The board did suggest that someone reach out to J-bar in Randolph and see what they could do. Chris - Feree electric is scheduled to install the generator at the fire shed on Monday May 6th - the balance of the cost will be due following the installation. Community: Seiko mentioned the community parade - and the fire department will enter vehicles. Other: the board will try to find a summer date for the department dinner. Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
