- SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, September 17, 2024, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend various sections of Title 21A of the Salt Lake City Code pertaining to the development of parking facilities. The proposal would prohibit the demolition of dwelling units for stand-alone parking uses and the expansion or modification of parking for existing uses unless it includes additional housing units. Other sections of Title 21A may also be amended as part of this petition. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. This meeting will be held at the Sorenson Unity Center, 1383 S. 900 W., Black Box Theater Room, Salt Lake City, UT 84104.
