NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SOUTH OGDEN CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the South Ogden City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive and consider comments on the proposed re-zoning of all parks in the City to the O-1 (Openspace-1) zone.
The parks are currently zoned according to the residential zoning that surrounds them. The Openspace-1 zone was specifically created for uses such as parks, cemeteries, golf courses, etc. and limits what structures can be built in the zone.
The public hearing will be held at 6:15 pm, or as soon as the agenda permits, during the South Ogden City Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The meeting will be located at City Hall, 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403, in the city council chambers and is open to the public. Anyone interested may attend and offer comment. Written comments may be submitted at the meeting or emailed to lkapetanov@southogdencity.gov before the meeting. Emailed comments will only be accepted until 5 pm, Thursday, September 12, 2024.
The public hearing will also be streamed live at https://www.youtube.com/@southogdencity and www.facebook.com/southogdencity. Comments for the public hearing can be submitted through the comment features on the different platforms at the appropriate time during the meeting.
