HENRIEVILLE TOWN PUBLIC MEETING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2024, 7:00 PM, TOWN HALL IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND, PLEASE NOTIFY MARIE JAGGAR, AT 435-679-8581 NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM ON OCTOBER 10. THIS MEETING IS IN REGARDS TO OUR WATER SYSTEM AND A FIVE (5) YEAR PLAN FOR MAINTENANCE OF IT: CURRENT RATE IS $32.00 PER MONTH RESIDENTIAL/$64.00 PER MONTH COMMERCIAL AT A USAGE RATE OF 20,000 GALLONS PER MONTH THE PROPOSAL TO BE PRESENTED IS: JANUARY 2025 TO DECEMBER 2025 $35.00 PER MONTH 18,000 GALLONS JANUARY 2026 TO DECEMBER 2026 $37.00 PER MONTH 17,000 GALLONS JANUARY 2027 TO DECEMBER 2027 $39.00 PER MONTH 16,000 GALLONS JANUARY 2028 TO DECEMBER 2028 $41.00 PER MONTH 15,000 GALLONS JANUARY 2029 TO DECEMBER 2029 $43.00 PER MONTH 14,000 GALLONS - The proposed rates will enable us generate the funds needed to continue maintenance on our system. - The town will be asking the CIB for funds to update our infrastructure. - State regulations require Henrieville town to show an increase in rates and a decrease in gallons per month. - Currently the town is barely generating enough revenue to keep up with the maintenance on our system. - Henrieville Town needs to start looking to the future to make our town sustainable for our children and generations to come.
