FAYETTE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
TUESDAY JULY 2ND, 2024
LOCATED AT FAYETTE TOWN HALL AT 7PM

CALL TO ORDER: 7:07PM
ROLL CALL: JED BARTHOLOMEW, MAYOR, BRYAN LYMAN, RUSTY JONES, MELISSA MELLOR, KEITH BARTHOLOMEW
PRAYER: KEITH BARTHOLOMEW
1) REVIEW MINUTES: Bryan made the motion to accept the Minutes. Melissa seconded the motion. Minutes were passed.
2) REVIEW EXPENDITURES: Bryan made the Motion to accept the Expenditures. Melissa seconded the motion. The Expenditures were passed.
3) WATER MEETING ON JUNE 12TH: PASSED MONEY FOR NEW CHLORINATOR FOR JORDAN. We had to call a meeting on July 12th to pass a payment for a new Chlorinator for the water tank. Bryan made the motion to pay for the Chlorinator no more than $1700. Rusty seconded the motion. The motion passed.
4) PRINTER: We have need of a new printer for the office. Les Olson can get us a nice one for $819.We want to check if we can get a credit for our printer. Bryan made the motion to purchase a new printer from Les Olson not to exceed $1000. Rusty seconded the motion. The motion passed.
5) RUSTY'S SITUATION: Rusty is going to be moving the end of August, so we need someone to take his place on the Council. We will address this next month.
6) R6 WANTS TO TALK TO US: Didn't show up
7) WATER REPORT: Water is doing good. We did need a Chlorinator and when that is installed we will be running really good. Jordan just got a scale for up at the wells. We got 80 points taken off of our water points. The CCR is a report stating the results for our Town.
8) P&Z REPORT: No building in Town right now. Remind the people about the Cross Connection on any sprinkler systems installed.
Brandon has finished the Cemetery project. The map is done and they will put markers in. Thank you Brandon!!
The Sanpete Chamber of Commerce has created a committee to help our Businesses with the things they need in our community. They can help any Business in the area to get loans or advertising to keep our business in the area. Anyone that is interested can contact Faylyn Warnick or Stephanie or www.sanpetechamberofcommerce.org.

Our office laptop won't turn on, so we don't have a way to do the water meters. Keith suggested taking it up north to get it fixed. The Clerk will call to get the programs traded to the big computer.
Our fire fees will be collected by Rocky Mountain Power and also the Landfill fees will be billed with the power bill.
Generator for town. Jed will put in for a grant in October.
Remember to do your training for Open Meetings. Turn in to Kathi.
ADJOURNMENT OF TOWN MEETING: Melissa made the motion to adjourn the meeting. Bryan seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned at 8:29pm.
