SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL SYNOPSIS OF SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE 43 of 2024 The Salt Lake City Council at its May 21, 2024 meeting adopted an ordinance amending the zoning of properties at approximately 1791 and 1815 South State Street from CC (Corridor Commercial) to R-MU (Residential/Mixed Use), as well as amending the zoning of properties at approximately 118 and 120 East Coatsville Avenue from R-1/5000 (Single Family Residential) to R-MU (Residential/Mixed Use). The ordinance will amend the Central Community Future Land Use Map. The applicant's intent of these amendment requests is to accommodate a redevelopment proposal to be submitted at a later date. Consideration may be given to rezoning the property to another zoning district with similar characteristics. The project is within Council District 5.
