- NOTICE PUBLIC HEARINGS Hyde Park City Planning Commission Wednesday, August 21, 2024 113 E Center St 7 PM Zoom Meeting ID: 796 947 6317 (Passcode: H88vx6) The Hyde Park City Planning Commission will hold Public Hearings to consider the following two rezone applications: Applicant: Sue Balls Property owners: Robert & Sue Balls Trust Property address: 600 E Canyon Road 2 parcels: 04-040-0029 (2.91 acres) 04-040-0019 (7.43 acres) Current Zone: A-1 (keeping of farm animals, low-density residential development) Propose Zone: R-4 (medium density residential developments with single family homes) Applicant: Jake Thompson Property owners: Hyde Park Land Development Property address: South of Hooker Appliance at 3620 N Hwy 91 Parcel: 04-031-0011 Current zone: Commercial (dedicated to all things commercial, such as food, retail, etc.) Proposed zone: Mixed-Use (allows commercial, retail with single-family detached, two-family attached, and multi-family residential uses) Any comments may be expressed at the Public Hearings, or via email to cityoffice@hydeparkcity.org.
