SPECIAL LOCAL BALLOT PROPOSITION
FARMINGTON CITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Farmington City will accept written for or against statements regarding the below special local ballot proposition. Statements shall not exceed 500 words in length and must include the name, residential address, postal address, email and phone number of the submitter. Eligible voters shall file the request with DeAnn Carlile, Election Officer before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Electronic submission can be sent to dcarlile@farmington.utah.gov. Arguments submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
FARMINGTON CITY HAS ASSESSED THE RECREATION, ARTS AND PARKS SALES TAX SINCE 2014. SHALL FARMINGTON CITY, UTAH BE AUTHORIZED TO RENEW THE IMPOSITION OF A .1% SALES AND USE TAX FOR RECREATIONAL, ARTS, AND PARKS FACILITIES, PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR TEN ADDITIONAL YEARS?
