INVITATION TO BID
CITY OF COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS

Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS (OWNER) will accept bids
for the construction of the City Project #005.24 - BANBURY ROAD CROSSING - according to
Drawings and Specifications prepared by the ENGINEER, and described in general as:
The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required
for the construction of the below described project, located in Cottonwood Heights.
Work for this improvement project (Project # 005.24) consists of the following items of work: asphalt
removal; curb and gutter removal, placing and compacting new asphalt surface course; placing and
compacting new concrete flatwork; rebuild curb and gutter; install ADA crossings; install irrigation; paint
striping, messages; and all appurtenant work; all in accordance with Drawings and Specifications
prepared by the Engineer.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined beginning on August 5th at 11:00 AM at the City Offices,
2277 E. Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights or using the Utah Public Procurement Website,
(bids.sciquest.com). Request for a copy of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall be submitted via email to
Adam Ginsberg at aginsberg@ch.utah.gov or downloaded from bids.sciquest.com.
Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in their office located at 2277 East Bengal Boulevard,
Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 until 2:00 p.m. on August 20th, 2024 and then at said office publicly
opened and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed and delivered to Cottonwood Heights Recorder, prior to
the Bid Opening.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
All questions relative to the project shall be submitted via email to Adam Ginsberg at
aginsberg@ch.utah.gov
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any
bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a
firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.
