Call to order: Mayor Alfred C. Bigelow Regular Council Meeting Agenda Items: 1. Jane Braithwaite & Marlene Cox, request to address Mayor & Council regarding maintenance of the Garden of Treasures, located within the Manti City Cemetery. 2. Joan Shand - Report on plans for 2024 Manti Halloween Festival. 3. Kennadee Bailey, Miss Manti - Request to present her platform to the Council. 4. Cory Hatch - Review of development plan and schedule for landscape improvements on property near Main & Union streets adjoining Manti Market parking lot. 5. Report - Review of July 2024 financial statements, Kent Barton. 6. Continuing Business. a. Discussion concerning nuisance ordinance and enforcement. b. Discussion concerning Inland Port project. c. Discussion concerning neighborhood complaints of 'Short Term Rental' on east Union Street. 7. Councilmembers reports: Jen Christiansen Jeff Killian AJ Mower Mary Pipes Mary Wintch 8. Public Comment - two minutes per each comment. 9. Mayor Bigelow. 10. Consideration of approval for minutes of prior meeting. (July 17th regular meeting) 11. City Manager Kent Barton. 12. Closed Session (if needed).
