ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR FISHER PARK SKATE PARK EXPANSION Sealed Bids for the construction of the FISHER PARK SKATE PARK EXPANSION will be received electronically by Clearfield City, through SciQuest before the bid opening date and time. Prior to submitting a bid, the contractor must register as a vendor on Sciquest. Clearfield City is not responsible for vendor accounts or access to Sciquest. The Bidder is encouraged to allow sufficient time for the process when submitting bids. A public bid opening will be conducted but attending in person will not be possible. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm local time on August 22, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud via a live video stream to all participants. The Project consists of the reconstruction of the construction of a mini ramp, street course, pump track, and formwork for pour in place features at the existing Fisher Park Skate Park located at 934 S 1000 E, Clearfield, UT. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of $164,689. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. All who are interested may participate in the bid opening electronically through Zoom Meeting either online: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/ 83758144927 or by calling 1 253 215 8782 and entering Meeting ID # 837 5814 4927. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time on August 8, 2024, at Fisher Park. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to Brandon Jones no later than 5:00 pm, August 15, 2024. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Upon request, a printed copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for $40 per copy. Costs related to obtaining Bidding Documents are non-refundable. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make awards in the best interests of the Owner.
