Approve minutes of July 1, 2024 (Regular meeting) C. Citizens to be Heard D. Action Items: Discussion and Consideration (some for Recommendation to County Commission with approvals subject to limitation): 1. Letter to County Clerk Gabe Woytek, requesting a monthly or quarterly report of Airport finances (drafted by Randy). 2. Letter of intent from Alvin Chung to build a hangar, with lot choices and dimensions. 3. Propose moving forward with digital advertising by Lions Back Resort for a minimum of one year until we get a system in place that meets the Board's expectations. E. Discussion Items: 1. Project Reports a. Taxiway A1 Relocation - Still waiting on grant offer from FAA. The bid amount is $106,964 over the amount requested, to continue with the project Grand County can carry this amount until the end of the project and receive a reimbursement. This request is on the Aug. 20 CC meeting. b. Drive through gate replacement (FEMA Grant) - ICA finalized. Waiting for company's project schedule, gate has an eight week build time. Gate will be ordered once Custom Fence receives the ICA. The ICA was sent to Stephen Stocks for review. c. Beacon Tower - makeover is finished. d. Mini-split heating/cooling unit for baggage screening area - ICA done & sent to Eco HVAC of Moab, upon receipt of COI it will be sent for Commission Chair signature. e. FAA ATP BIL application submitted - terminal modifications F. Reports: 1. Airport Monthly Data Report - July 2024 & Virtower Data 2. Any questions on Director's Report for July 2024 3. County Commission 4. City of Moab 5. Travel Council 6. Solar Committee 7. (Lease) Insurance Subcommittee 8. Other reports for Airport Board G. Future Considerations H. Closed Session, if necessary I. Adjourn Those with special needs requests wishing to attend Airport Board meetings are encouraged to contact the County two (2) days in advance of these events.
