General Notice:
Escalante City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Medical Center Addition.
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by Escalante City electronically at ssteed@escalantecity.com until August 20, 2024 at 4:00 pm local time. At a later time, the Bids received will be reviewed by the owner and architect, and bid results posted at the U3P Website.
The Project includes the following Work: A single-story, wood-framed, slab-on-grade addition of approximately 3,700 square feet to the south and east sides of the existing Escalante Medical Center building, including site improvements for utilities and expansion of the existing parking lot. Bids will be received for single contract.
Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,200,000. The Project has an expected duration of 250 days.
Obtaining Bidding Documents:
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the U3P Website.
The U3P Website will be updated with addenda, plan holders list, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the website.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc. and Campbell Architecture, 1535 South 100 West, Richfield, UT 84701.
Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Pre-bid Conference:
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on August 8, 2024 at 10:00 am local time at the Escalante City Offices 56 North 100 West, Escalante, UT, 84726. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory but highly encouraged.
