Notice is hereby given that the Payson City Board of Adjustment will conduct a public meeting on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Payson City Center located at 439 West Utah Avenue, Payson, Utah. The meeting will be conducted as follows:

4.1 Request by Matt Rice for a variance to Payson City maximum lot coverage requirements to allow the construction of a detached garage on Utah County Parcel number 49:969:0129 located at 601 East 1310 South located in the R-1-12 residential zone. The maximum lot coverage of impervious surfaces in this zone is 40 percent. Due to special circumstances, the applicant is requesting to raise the allowable maximum to 50 percent.
4.2 Request by Jackson Stores for a variance to Payson City minimum landscape requirements within the S-1, Special Highway Service zone. The property is located at 1250 West 800 South on Utah County Parcel number 41:736:0002. The request by the applicant is to reduce the minimum landscaping requirement from 25 percent to 17 percent on the basis that there are special circumstances existing on the property.
