Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY The South Salt Lake City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. -The South Salt Lake City tax on a $427,000 residence would increase from $521.37 to $626.34, which is $104.97 per year -The South Salt Lake City tax on a $427,000 business would increase from $947.94 to $1,138.81, which is $190.87 per year. -If approved budget is approved, South Salt Lake City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 20.21% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing to the tax increase.
