NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE MURRAY CITY Murray City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Murray City tax on a $565,000 residence would increase from $439.09 to $460.84, which is $21.75 per year. - The Murray City tax on a $565,000 business would increase from $798.35 to $837.90, which is $39.55 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Murray City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 4.95% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
