- Board Member Mid-Term Vacancy Utah Code 20A-1-512 Notice is hereby given that one Board of Trustee seat has been vacated. Qualified persons interested in being appointed to fill the remainder of the term for this vacancy must submit their name, contact information and a summary of why they are interested in filling the vacancy and complete a 'Declaration of Candidacy' form, in person, at the district office no later than 5:00 pm Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Uintah Highlands Improvement District Board of Trustees will appoint a Trustee to fill this vacancy during the regular board meeting on August 15, 2024. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. to be held at the District Office located at 2401 E. 6175 S., Ogden, UT 84403. Appointed Trustee will begin serving their term on September 1, 2024. This term ends on 12/31/2025. Trustee Qualifications: - Must be a U.S. Citizen at the time of filing. - Must be at least 18 years old. - Must be a registered voter of the district. - Must be a resident of the district for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of appointment. - Must be a user of at least one service provided by the district. - Must be mentally competent, has not been convicted of a felony, and has not been convicted of treason or a crime; unless right has been restored pursuant to Utah Code Annotated ยง 20A-2-101.5.
