NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CEDAR HILLS, UTAH
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Cedar Hills, Utah, will hold a Public Hearing in connection with their City Council meeting on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center, 10640 N Clubhouse Drive, Cedar Hills, Utah.
The City Council will receive in-person public comments with respect to the study, report, and recommendation of the creation of a new school district. The Boundary of the proposed new school district will include the cities of Lehi, American Fork, Cedar Hills, Highland, Alpine, and a section of Draper within Utah County Boundaries.
Any interested parties may obtain copies of the study, report, and recommendations beginning June 19, 2024, at centralschooldistrict.org, or by contacting the City Recorder at 801-785-9668. Written comments may be submitted by mail to Cedar Hills City Recorder, 10246 N Canyon Road, Cedar Hills, UT 84062, or by email to cmulvey@cedarhills.org..
The Public comment period will end on August 2, 2024. If the Interlocal agreement participants approve the proposal at their respective City Council meetings on August 6, 2024, the proposal shall be voted on by the legal voters within the proposed new school district boundaries.
