TOQUERVILLE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION July 23, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. 212 N. Toquer Blvd. Toquerville, Utah 84774 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS DURING THE REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING JULY 23, 2024 CONVENING AT 6:00 P.M.: 1. Public input is sought on a zone change application submitted by Ronald Duerksen. Tax ID #: T-3-0-27-411. The current zoning is H-C Highway Commercial, the proposed zoning is BMP Business and Manufacturing Zone. 2. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code 10-9: Agricultural Districts to consolidate the two agricultural zones with a minimum lot area of .5 acre. 3. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code 10-15D-4: Zoning Districts to modify the permitted uses within the extraction industry overlay zone. 4. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code 10-14A: M-1 Light Industrial Zone to create an allowed use table, modify physical restrictions and special regulations for M-1 Zones. 5. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code 10-13A: BMP Business and Manufacturing Zone to create an allowed use table, modify physical restrictions and special regulations for business and manufacturing zones. 6. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code by eliminating Title 10, Chapter 4 Annexation Criteria and Procedures and modifying Title 10, Chapter 8 Zoning Districts and Map to reference an Annexation Policy Plan. 7. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code 10-12B: H-C Highway Commercial Zone to create an allowed use table, modify the physical restrictions and create special regulations within highway commercial zones. 8. Public input is sought on Ordinance 2024.XX - Amending and restating Toquerville City Code 10-18B: Grading Permit to modify the grading review process. Copies of applications and ordinance drafts are available for review at the Toquerville City Office (212 North Toquer Boulevard) In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Daisy Fuentes at the City Office 635-1094, at least 48 hours in advance. This Notice will be posted on the State website at http://pmn.utah.gov, posted on the Toquerville City website at www.toquerville.org, and the City Office Board this July 11, 2024, by Toquerville City Recorder, Daisy Fuentes.
