Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE CLARKSTON TOWN The CLARKSTON TOWN is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The CLARKSTON TOWN tax on a $429,000 residence would increase from $191.83 to $313.81, which is $121.98 per year. - The CLARKSTON TOWN tax on a $429,000 business would increase from $348.78 to $570.57, which is $221.79 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, CLARKSTON TOWN would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 63.90% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
