Notice is hereby given of a public hearing regarding levying contract assessments and a proposed increase to the assessments for land within in the municipal boundaries of the Town of Toquerville served by the Toquerville Secondary Water System (TSWS), an interlocal agency created by the Town of Toquerville and the Washington County Water Conservancy District, as follows:
1. A hearing will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Toquerville City Office,
212 N Toquer Blvd, Toquerville, Utah, to consider levying the annual contract
assessment for 2025 within TSWS service area, and to consider increasing the annual
assessment from $254 to $330 for less than a 1/2 acre, $372 to $484 for 1/2 to 1 acre for
residential parcels, and $118 to $153 for agricultural parcels. Standby from $135 to $176.
2. The assessment shall be levied to owners of real property within the city limits of the Town
of Toquerville who have a contract for delivery of water from the Toquerville Secondary
Water System.
