- PUBLIC NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY ln accordance with Utah State Code Ann. 20A-1-510(b), notice is hereby given that the Duchesne City Council has a Council seat vacancy as of June 27,2024, and will be accepting applications from interested individuals for filling said vacancy. Applicants must have lived within Duchesne City limits for the last 12 consecutive months, be a registered voter, and cannot be a convicted felon. The term will last until December 31, 2025. Applications for the City Council seat can be obtained from and returned to City Recorder Myra Young at 500 E Main Street Duchesne UT 84021, during regular business hours, M-TH 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. lf you have further questions, call (435) 738-2464. The deadline for application submission is Julv 22. 2024. at 12:00 noon. Candidates will be interviewed by the City Council in an open public meeting taking place on July 23,2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Duchesne City office building located at 500 E Main, Duchesne, UT 84021
