Notice is hereby given that the Long Valley Sewer Improvement District will hold a Public Hearing for a proposed rate schedule change for Fees associated with allowing Sewage Dumping from Private Companies into the Sewer System. The Meeting will be held at 425 East State Street (lower level meeting room), Orderville, Utah, at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2024. All interested persons are invited to attend and give written or oral comments. The proposed fees and proposed language for Ordinance will be available during office hours of 8 a.m to 10 a.m monday thru Thursday at 170 west 100 south, Orderville, Utah.. The existing rate includes a charge for $25 per thousand gallons of Sewage. The proposed change is to include a flat fee for each truck load of up to $200 depending on the size of truck.. This change as proposed is to allow for charging a fee based on truck load instead of estimated gallons. It would change from 100% self reporting the estimate of gallons to a system based on motion camera sitings and less self reporting.
