NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Eagle Mountain City Council will hold ppublic hearings on July 2, 2024, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as business allows, in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, 1650 E Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. The City Council will receive public comments concerning the following items:
Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Amendments:
o EMMC 2.10 Mayor and 2.15 City Council. A proposal to update the Mayor and City Council compensation to align with the approved FY 2025 Annual Budget. Eagle Mountain City Point of Contact: Steve Mumford, smumford@emcity.org
o EMMC 17,55.040.E. & 17.55.100 (Off-Street Parking) A proposal to enact an ordinance amending Title 17, Section 55.040.E. to require parking lots for non-single family uses to be in proximity to building entrances and to Title 17, Section 55.100 to cause shared parking agreement proposals to be reviewed by the City Council as well as reducing the amount of shared parking allowed and requiring a parking maintenance agreement. o EMMC 17.10 Definitions and 17.25.030 Land Use Table A proposal to enact an ordinance amending Title 17 Chapter 10 by revising and adding residentially based zoning definitions and, Chapter 25.030 by revising and reformatting the residential Land Use Table. o EMMC 16.35.090 Privacy Fencing, 17.10 Definitions, 17.60 Landscaping Buffering Fencing and Transitioning, and 17.64 Retaining Walls. A proposal to enact an ordinance amending Title 17 by adding a new Chapter 61 regarding retaining walls, establishing basic construction standards governing the same and, revising Title 17 Section 60.120 to refer to the new Chapter 61 and deleting certain language in Title 15.80.050 pertaining to allowing walls in easements.
