PARK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION Park City School District Office 2700 Kearns Boulevard October 15, 2024 Regular Session 4:00 p.m. Additional information is available the Monday before each meeting at: http://www.boarddocs.com/ut/pcsd/Board.nsf/public Time allocated to each agenda item is approximate and subject to change. The Board may vote to meet in closed session for any of the purposes set forth in Section 52-4-205 of Utah's Open and Public Meetings Act Board members may be participating by telephone. AGENDA 1 Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance 2 Consent Agenda Special Session Minutes of September 4, and September 16, 2024 Regular Session Minutes of September 17, 2024 Closed Session Minutes of September 16, 2024 Approval of Electric Bus Purchase Broker Services RFP Award Travel Requests Personnel Check Registers of September 2024 Board Revenue and Expenditures of September 2024 3 Monthly Reports Employee Group Reports Student on the Board Report Chief Teaching and Learning Officer Chief Operations Officer Superintendent Report 4 Discussion 4.1 Student Enrollment Numbers Business Administrator Randy Upton will provide the Board with preliminary enrollment numbers for FY25. 4.2 FY26 School Calendar The Calendar Committee will present its recommendation to the Board for the FY26 school year. A 3-year calendar will also be presented for discussion. 4.4 Athletic Facility Improvement Baseline The Board will review athletic facility information to determine if they will move forward with the project before the new year. 5 Decision 5.1 Preschool Funding Chief Teaching and Learning Officer, Stacey Briggs, is asking for additional mid-year funding for the preschool program. 6 Public Comment-School Closure The Board has set aside time to hear public comments on the closure of Treasure Mountain Junior High effective for the 2025-2026 school year. 7 Public Comment (5:00 PM) The Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members at our meetings. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. Speakers representing a group will be limited to five (5) minutes. 8 Adjourn Notice: This meeting will be recorded (video and audio) and made available for one year on the district website (www.pcschools.us). In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Lorie Pearce at 435-615-0225, at least three working days prior to the meeting.
