The town board is going to ask Paul Webb to take out the town hall garbages weekly to replace Audrey Jeseen. The board also made a list for Paul of what needs to be done this month.
The board decided to not get a generator at the pumphouse right now. It is a possibility for the future but it was determined that the town wants to save that money for any potential big emergencies.
There were two bids presented at board meeting for potential builders for the pavilion at the rodeo grounds. There was a discussion about grills, tables, location and what the town would like the pavilion to look like. Hunter Brothers built the one in Randolph and multiple board members liked the look of that one and would rather spend a little more money to replicate that look. There is going to be a storage side built into the pavilion and Mayor Sabey is going to opt not to finish that to save some money to try and make it under our grant amount. If needed, the town can put some money towards grills, tables, etc. Mayor Sabey made the motion to approve the Hunter Brothers to build the pavilion. Monika Schulthess seconded the motion. The motion carried with Scott Sabey, Raymond Frandsen and Monika Schulthess in favor and Sami Ellingford opposed.
Scott Sabey made the motion to approve the April bills. Monika Schulthess seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Monika Schulthess made the motion to approve March minutes. Raymond Frandsen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
The board discussed bringing back the dinner at the Woodruff Homecoming Celebration. There was an idea to have the dinner during the entertainment which will be on the evening of July 3rd. There was talk of a dutch oven dinner with potatoes and pies. Monika Schulthess is going to talk to the Young Men and Young Women to see if they would like to do it as a fundraiser. Dinner will be finalized at a later date.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
