The meeting was called to order by Matt Tippetts at 1:15 PM
The April Meeting minutes were reviewed, a motion was made by Hugh Straatman to approve the minutes, second by AJ Olsen, the motion passed.
Financial Report:
Cash summary shows $27,000 in weed fund, fund 80, preparing to invoice the grant expected this month.
Weed Business:
Too windy to spray. All equipment is ready to go, just waiting on the weather. A little bit of spraying along roads has occurred. Met with BLM, will follow up on what was discussed there.
At 1:30 PM motion was made by Bryan Smith to adjourn the meeting, second by Kolby Motion Passed

The meeting was called to order by Bryan Smith at 12:00 PM. The April 2024 meeting minutes were reviewed; a motion was made by Hugh Straatman to approve the minutes, second by AJ Olsen, motion carried
Finances
Received reimbursement of $800 from UACD and $2,085.96 from th e State of Utah.
In the budget review, we discussed keeping the same budget as previous year. Motion was made to approve the same financial budget preliminarily for the next fiscal year, by Kolby, second by Hugh, motion carried. Will be finalized next meeting, June 12, 2024
Betsy will pick a computer then Darrell will buy through RC&D during the FY2025
Phone call with Tony Richards who has Soil Health Grant funds left over. He is able to help the district buy a new no-till drill. Steve made a motion that we make a contract with the soil advisory board, second by Kolby. Bryan will begin that process, an invoice will be made, Betsy will submit it to the state. The full amount will be paid, and drill will be picked up by members of the board in Loma. Finalize at next meeting.
Discussed possibility of selling the current no-till drill.
Other
A clerk agreement was presented by Darrell and the board motioned to pay a quarterly amount of $650 to the clerk. Motion passed.
We will discontinue paper mailing agenda and start a text group for board communications.
Matt Henry and Boyd Pallesen attended to discuss the application process for a low pressure pipe through the Sheep Creek Irrigation company that will benefit Broadbents and Henrys. Boyd is to go to Vernal to start the process with NRCA & FSA. The CD will help with funding where needed.

FSA: Nothing
NRCS: Jeremy reviewed civil rights responsibilities. Discussed board members' obligation to producer confidentiality and non-discrimination, board signed the form. New planner has been hired in the office.
USU: Nothing
UCC: UCC Tour is in Coalville, UT June 20-21, 2024. Board members were encouraged to participate and will approve reimbursement for travel. Board reappointments have been submitted and will be reviewed.
UACD: Nothing
UGIP: Nothing
USFS: Nothing
Daggett County: Nothing
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Steve Forbes second by Hugh Straatman motion carried 1:15 PM
