5. Approve Minutes from April 10th, 2024, meeting.
a. Motion to approve David Lee

6. Youth Council Reports from Convention
a. Anna Cowley Report: Learned leadership, how to network with other youth groups in the valley/state, Confidence in public speaking, going every other year would be good, would recommend having an older youth to guide the younger ones at convention.
b. Kristen Allsop looking for someone to take her place for right now
7. 2024-2025 Budget Update
a. Matt Regen will prepare the budget to be approved at next month's meeting if any departments need to change anything they will contact Matt and he will adjust the budget.
8. Sheriff's Report
9. Western Corridor Study update
a. Petersen is interested in the study and with UDOT to see what is going on. There is 4 different places they want to go.
b. According to Jeff Gilbert most of what we have heard is just rumors. Will keep Dave Lee in the loop.
10. Amalga Days Celebration Update July 19-20
a. Town Councils assignment is a brunch for Saturday Morning ask to do Chicken and waffles. Need to have things locked in by June.
b. We have a food truck for Friday night. We have a BBQ one, we may need to have another one that kids would like also.
11. Council reports:
a. Paul Hansen,
i. Had to replace lights in town hall bathrooms.
ii. Vandalism in the men's bathroom. Going to get paint and try to fix it.
iii. Next year's Rapz money will be for the remodel of the bathrooms.
iv. Will have the lawn people spray for weeds on the playground
v. RAPZ meeting for next week to decide on this year's awards.
vi. Need a couple new tables for the town hall
vii. Have a enough plastic eggs for the next few years. 180 dozen
viii. Haven't heard back on the town cleanup from the church
ix. Will do up the parking lines at the park and the town hall
b. Dave Lee,
i. For Planning and Zoning. Didn't approve minutes. Took care of two Zoning Clearances for Paul Campbell. That was everything
c. Colette Dursteler
i. Look into Automating payments for water programs. Could pass the charge onto the person.
ii. Cash Payments will only be accepted in person on bill.
d. Mark Cowley
i. Been super busy and working on that test to certify. Water sample from well 3 came back good.
12. Mayor's report
a. Start mosquito spraying in June
b. Put the new Drinking Fountain in the park
c. They are going to mow the road edges soon.
d. Been mowing around the wells
