- Current information & updates
- The Utah Grazing Improvement Program and Working Lands Conservation invites you to the Young Ranch Workshop at Hidden Springs Ranch in Duchesne County on August 13-15.
- The Predatory Animal Control Grant is open annually through the end of August to eligible livestock producers who have suffered predation losses and provides reimbursement for up to 50% of the cost of the contracted amount for practices used to stop or reduce predation. To apply, contact your regional GIP coordinator.
- The United States Department of Agriculture and Food recently released new requirements about the use of Electronic Identification (EID) tags in cattle and bison. New requirements will go into effect November 5, 2024.
- USDA FY 2024 Composting and Food Waste Reduction (CFWR) Cooperative Agreements
o Open: Now - September 4, 2024. Composting and Food Waste Reduction (CFWR) cooperative agreements assist local and municipal governments with projects that develop and test strategies for planning and implementing municipal compost plans and food waste reduction plans.
