NOTICE OF HIGHLAND CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING
The Highland City Council will hold a public hearing on June 18, 2024 at 7:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr, Highland, UT. The City Council will receive public comments concerning the following:
- Highland City Budget Adjustments for Fiscal Year 2023-2024
- Adoption of the Highland City Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025
- Interfund transfer of $108,000 from the Pressurized Irrigation Enterprise Fund to the General Fund. This transfer represents 1.35% of the Fiscal year 2024-2025 budgeted expenses of the PI Fund.
- Highland City Officer Compensation
- Highland City is considering amending Section 3-612 of the Highland City Development Code related to fences, theme walls, screen walls, and retaining walls. The potential changes include modifying open fencing/opacity requirements along trail and open space corridors, how and when fences can be constructed on retaining walls, and the definition of retaining walls.
