** UPDATED NOTICE OF THE POSSIBLE CREATION OF A NEW SCHOOL DISTRICT, RECEIPT OF FEASIBILITY STUDIES, THE BEGINNING OF A 45-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD, AND PUBLIC HEARINGS WITH THE CITY COUNCIL Notice is hereby given that Eagle Mountain City Council has entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Saratoga Spring and the Town of Fairfield, with the written support of Cedar Fort, to begin the creation of a new school district pursuant to the provisions of Utah Code § 53G-3-301.4. In addition, on May 21, 2024, the City Council received feasibility studies from Lewis Robertson Burningham Public Finance Advisors, Inc. (LRB) and MGT Education on the feasibility of the new school district creation. In accordance with Utah Code § 53G-3-301.4(8)(a)(i), the City Council hereby provides for a 45-day public comment period to begin on May 21, 2024 and ending on July 5, 2024. Pursuant to Utah Code § 53G-3-301.4(8)(a)(ii), public hearings with the City Council are hereby scheduled on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 6:00 PM and Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as business allows, in the City Council Chambers, located at 1650 E Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, UT, 84005, to consider public comment on the feasibility studies and recommendations contained therein on the creation of the new school district.
