PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Payson City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the following projects:
- Various Residential Zoning Designations: One Utah County parcel #29:009:0023 within the Payson City limits requests the following zoning designations; R-1-A, Residential-Agricultural Zone, R-1-20, Residential Zone, R-1-10, Residential Zone. The parcel is addressed at 2853 W. 790 S. and is approximately 100 acres. The applicant seeks to subdivide the property into 19 lots of 5.25 acres or greater. The lots would receive the zoning designation as identified in the attached map (see map 1 below).
- I-O, Infill Overlay Zoning Designation: Two proposed parcels identified as Lot 1B and Lot 2 (see map 2 below) within the Payson City limits requests the I-O, Infill Overlay zoning designation. The parcel is approximately addressed at 295 N. 300 E. and includes the following Utah County Parcel; #08:044:0003. The intent of the I-O, Infill Overlay is for infill development within the city and allows for parcels to potentially have reduced lot sizes, setbacks, and street frontage.
- RMO-1, Two-Family Residential Overlay Zoning Designation: Two proposed parcels identified as Lot 1A and Lot 1B (see map 2 below) within the Payson City limits requests the RMO-1, Two-Family Residential Overlay zoning designation. The proposed parcels are approximately addressed at 295 N. 300 E. and are currently included as part of the following Utah County Parcel; #08:044:0003. The RMO-1 overlay zone allows for duplexes and twin homes to be built in single family residential zones.
- Ordinance Text Amendment: Various amendments to Title 13, Zoning, relating to Appendix A Land Use Categories.
